Microcrystalline wax is a product obtained by dewaxing from the residual oil of lubricating oil. Its characteristics are as follows:
1. It has the characteristics of good gloss, high melting point and light color. Its structure is tight, firm and smooth. It can be miscible with various natural waxes, and can increase the melting point of low-grade waxes and improve the properties of coarse waxes.
2. It can also be used as a modifier of paraffin wax. Adding a small amount of microcrystalline wax to the paraffin wax can change the crystal shape of the paraffin wax, improve the moisture permeability of the paraffin wax, increase the bending resistance, and improve plasticity and flexibility, so that paraffin wax is used in waterproof, moisture-proof, mold-making, papermaking and other fields.
3. Microcrystalline wax has low hardness and good flexibility. It tends to flow plasticly under force, has large elongation and good flexibility.
4. It has good sealing, moisture resistance, toughness and electrical insulation properties.
5. It has strong oil absorption properties and can form a stable and uniform paste with a variety of solvents and waxes.
6. It is emulsified and can be used as a processing aid for shoe polish, automobile wax, polishing wax, floor wax, glazing wax, Chinese medicine pills, protective agents, candles, waxed toys, dental materials, and cosmetics. It can also be used as an oily material for lipstick, hair wax, etc. in cosmetics.
This product is widely used in grease thickening, paraffin wax modification, daily chemical materials, paper industry, textile industry, cosmetics industry, food industry, etc.
